The airline will initially have 8 aircraft that will cover 29 domestic and 15 international routes.

Although the company is aware that the recovery of the sector will only occur in 2022, the company’s executives explained that its main effort is focused on making its cost structure an efficient and flexible model, for which, the low price formula starts from the strategies for the purchase of airplanes.

On the other hand, the arrival of the new company in Colombia will generate around 36 thousand jobs, which will help in the economic reactivation of the country after the pandemic.

Also, according to William Shaw, director and co-founder of Ultra Air, it will contribute 5% to the revenues of hotels and travel agencies in the coming years.

The start-up of Ultra Air will require a projected investment above the minimum line established by Aerocivil of $ 8,778 million.

Our dream is to contribute to the reactivation, to energize the industry and to connect more and more people, giving them the possibility of traveling at the best prices ”, concluded Shaw.
