The National Government auctioned this Tuesday the gold that the ex-guerrilla of the Farc delivered after the signing of the peace process.
197,286.96 grams of fine gold received from the ex-guerrilla. Two companies participated, including an Italian one. A firm from England won: Condor Partners.

One of those in charge of the auction explained to EL TIEMPO that the amount can be triggered by the gold prices that will rise in the morning.

The Special Assets Society was the public entity that managed the auction. The commercial intermediary was CI Meprecol, selected by public tender.

The gold package they reported was 25,000 grams of jewelry and 440,020 grams of metal.

The now ex-guerrilla also reported its willingness to deliver in cash a total of 12,070 million pesos, but so far it has delivered 2,114 million.
According to the Executive, “more than half of the money in the inventory, the FARC registered it with the observation that it was stolen, seized and disappeared. In other words, from the moment the inventory was delivered, it had been specified that said money would not be delivered ”.
Fake dollars
A key aspect is the delivery of real estate.
Of the 722 that the FARC said they were in a position to deliver, only 8 have been recovered and, of them, 7 are classified as uncultivated, therefore their property is directly owned by the Nation.
Spokesmen for the ex-guerrilla have already notified that 136 of those properties will not be delivered and, as of May 14, 2020, they have only provided one coordinate point that corresponds to 196 of the total properties.

Regarding the cash, although it is recognized that all of the 450,000 dollars they reported have already been delivered, and even monetized for 1,442 million pesos, the ex-guerrilla spent 1,500 false dollars.
