Girardot will have curfew, dry law and peak and cedula during the Puente de Reyes. This decision was made jointly by the Municipal Mayor’s Office and the Cundinamarca Government.
The announcement comes days after Girardot faced a high ICU occupancy due to the increase in covid-19 infections.
To date, Girardot has 261 active cases and 48 people died of coronavirus. 11 people are in Intensive Care Units.

“You have to understand that it is not just about growing up in ICU beds. A person who enters the ICU has a 60 to 70% chance of not leaving alive. That is why we cannot just wait until there is ICU, we have to insist in care. That is why we are going to intensify measures “, assured the Governor of Cundinamarca, Nicolás García.

From Thursday, January 7 to Monday, January 11, there will be a peak and ID, curfew and dry law from 8 pm
