A serious accident was registered this Saturday, on the road between Palmira and Rozo, rural area of this town. It was presented in the Coronado sector.
Although the driver left with minor injuries, many of the more than 15 animals, most of them cattle and calves, as well as a donkey he was carrying, perished, as the truck circled twice and the cargo cabin was destroyed.
Some of the animals from the impact of losing control were thrown out and agonized on the spot.
Authorities ask drivers to exercise caution when carrying animals. It is investigated if the vehicle had technical-mechanical problems.
