Firefighters cut down trees that may fall

This Friday has been one of the days of the week that has rained the most in the capital and that caused emergencies in several locations. According to the Idiger, rainfall was recorded in Usaquén, Barrios Unidos, Chapinero, Kennedy, Los Mártires, Puente Aranda, Rafael Uribe and Teusaquillo.

Therefore, the entity released the information to recommend citizens to take greater precautions during the winter season.

One of those areas is Chapinero and one of the points where a tree fell on the road was the Carrera 13 with Calle 86. There are no reports of injured people.

In the same area, but in the transversal 3 with calle 85, Firefighters also cut and bucking a tree that fell on the public road.

Towards the north of the city, similar emergencies were also reported in the 133 street with 9 race and 116 street avenue with 23 race.

First responders disseminate this information so that drivers take alternate roads and pedestrians travel with caution in those areas.

Mobility problems due to rain

The Bogota Fire Department also recommended avoiding some road crossings and intersections due to flooding that dammed traffic.

– Calle 32 carrera 13A
– Avenida Carrera 7 with Calle 54
– Carrera avenue with 31st street
– Calle 28 with Carrera 13A
– Calle 54 with Carrera 15
