A forceful blow to the head would be the cause of the death of Natalia Fernández Montoya, a systems engineering student at the Universidad de los Llanos (Unillanos).
The impact would have been given to him by Carlos Andrés Sandoval, his former partner and a veterinary medicine student at the same educational institution.

The shocking case, which has caused a commotion in Meta, is being investigated by the authorities who are awaiting the autopsy of the Forensic Medicine Forensics to determine the responsibility of Carlos Andrés, who when questioned would have ended up confessing to be the author of the murder.
The known versions initially suggest that the two students argued on Monday night and the young man ended up brutally attacking her in the middle of the argument, killing her in one of the rooms of Natalia’s house.

Through a post on Twitter, the mayor of Villavicencio, Felipe Harman, He strongly rejected the murder of Paula Natalia Fernández and said that “it is a fact that mourns our city”. Harman also convened an extraordinary security council that was held this Friday morning.
The representative of the students before the Superior Council of Unillanos, Fernando Saavedra, regretted the homicide of his study partner, who he said had been part of the student movement and was advancing the final procedures for the degree option as a systems engineer.

Saavedra assured that the pandemic removed the blindfold on the gender problem experienced in the region and he pointed out that in Unillanos there is no gender policy and protocols that allow guaranteeing non-revictimization, confidentiality and that can warn of the possibility of cases in which the life of a person is ended.
