Emergency in Dabeiba, Antioquia, due to the rains

In emergency is Dabeiba
, in Antioquia, due to the rains that fell on that area in the last hours.

As Mayor Leyton Urrego confirmed to Noticias Caracol, an older adult died after being trapped in his own home. In addition, three other people were slightly injured.

But that is not the only fact that worries the inhabitants of this municipality.

“Several landslides have fallen on several trails, including Fortuna and Mohán. Confirmed we have the death of an elderly adult who the house fell on him, also three minor injuries. An ambulance, which was covered by a landslide, “said Urrego.

“We have not been able to reach Mohán, it is very dark, raining a lot; in telephone communication with the people of that village, they tell us that they feel that the mountain is thundering a lot and (that there is) a storm, ”he added.

The landslides, due to rainfall, have closed the road to Urabá (in several sections), for which the president invited to temporarily suspend trips to that area to avoid a tragedy.
