The Cundinamarca Traffic Police confirmed that the accident occurred on Friday and that the person died at the La Sabana Clinic. This Sunday, the Government of Cundinamarca identified the cyclist as José Antonio Duarte Leiva.
Regarding the person responsible for the terrible accident, it was learned, according to the Governor of Cundinamarca, that the man was released because he was not “found in flagrante delicto”.
Although the citizen, detained in Sopó, will continue to be linked to the process, he will do so in freedom and not under security measures.
