BLU Radio learned of contract 375-20 through which the Presidency of the Republic signed with Radio Televisión Nacional de Colombia, RTVC, for a value of $ 6,382,267,525 million pesos. The contract includes a “newspaper report”, which is an informative space through which issues related to the management of the Presidency of the Republic and the National Government will be discussed in depth. They will have a minimum duration of 25 minutes and maximum of 30 minutes and has a cost of $ 29,456,141 million pesos.
In addition, a mini-program that will address the main news of the Presidency of the Republic and the National Government, where all journalistic genres can also be used, with a predominance of the news genre. This audiovisual product must have a minimum duration of 7 minutes and a maximum of 10, for a value of $ 8,010,289 million pesos.
Informative magazine: Space that collects the most significant of the week on the actions and decisions of the Presidency of the Republic and the National Government. Will have a duration of 30 minutes for a cost of $ 47,740,500 million pesos.
Interview with the president: This space, as its name indicates, is an in-depth interview program, where the President of the Republic dialogues with prominent Colombians in all areas. This audiovisual product must haver duration of 60 minutes and will cost Colombians $ 27,482,531 million pesos.
Capsules: Microprograms between 2 and 6 minutes long. Through these, a variety of topics can be shown, either through chronicles that tell life stories or simply with information of interest through the news genre, at a cost of $ 4,455,780 million pesos.
The contract stipulates that this programming began from the first of December 2020 and that will go until the year 2022.
Government sources consulted by BLU Radio assured that despite the fact that the interview program led by President Iván Duque appears in the technical specifications of the millionaire contract, this is not going to be done.
It is included because it is a list of television product options that the Presidency can make, but they are not mandatory as has happened today, since the same program appears in the contract signed in 2018 and which has just been renewed until 2022.
With the more than 6,000 million pesos, explained Palacio, the contracts of all officials are paid working on active productions.
