President Iván Duque did not accept the resignation that the Interior Minister, Alicia Arango, was going to present.

The official had the request for resignation ready, arguing personal matters, to deliver it to the president on the afternoon of this Friday when he returned from the inauguration of the Line Tunnel.

However, this afternoon when the minister met with the president, Duque managed to convince her to continue in office.

The head of state explained that he was satisfied with the work she was doing not only with Congress but also in everything that has to do with the management of government policies in the regions.

Told him that she was doing her homework right

This morning it was taken as a fact that Minister Arango would leave the administration and that she would even go to a diplomatic delegation abroad.
