“My instruction is one and very clear: here you have to get to the bottom, to the last consequences of who are the material and intellectual authors of this type of practice. Not only because I reject the profiling of journalists, leaders of organizations that protect human rights, but also of officials of the Presidency of the Republic, including the Secretary General of the Presidency, which is the administrative head, ”said the head of state.

He stressed that this type of practice is inadmissible and added: “On my part there is only one instruction: zero tolerance, and that the last consequences be reached.”
He added that, “sadly, these types of episodes have been presented many times throughout the recent history of Colombia, and it cannot be that a few blur the serious work done by an institution that is at the heart of Colombians.”
Duke, also reiterated that as soon as the Presidency of the RepublicHe was forceful in telling the members of the military leadership of the time that, “this government had a zero tolerance policy with any act that dishonored the uniform, with any act that was contrary to the law.”
