Among the ideas that Tomás raised the possible increase of 4% in the minimum wage and the reduction of the working day by 4 hours per week, which today is 48 hours.

The proposals had a deep impact on various sectors, which led Tomás to be consulted and interviewed by various media. On the Caracol Radio station, journalists took the opportunity to ask him how much he pays the employees of the companies in which he has a stake.

As he commented, in a company of which he is a shareholder, which is dedicated to industrial waste, most workers are paid more than the minimum wage.
