The Bogotá Planning Secretariat warned that households that have not responded to the Sisbén survey they should request it as soon as possible, as they could be left out of their database.

According to the entity, the request must be made at the Cade Network service points, by a person of legal age who is responsible for the home, preferably. In addition, you must submit a copy of the last utility bill for energy or the aqueduct with your updated home address, a contact phone number and email.

The director of Sisbén, Helmut Menjura, assured that “the result of the new Sisbén IV survey will be the only valid one in the country to identify with priority those who need it most. Hence the importance that households that have not been surveyed carry out the process. Bogotá began the updating process in 2019 and to date, more than one million homes have been registered. The information collected will be part of the Sisbén national database, which will be satisfied only with the new Sisbén IV surveys, since the previous ones will no longer be used ”.

During 2019, the District visitedOh neighborhoods of strata 1,2 and some of the 3 and some rural areas of the capital of Colombia. The director said that “The new Sisbén IV survey allows us to know other aspects that are important for households, and for this it is necessary to have updated information on the population. This makes it easier for social programs to better identify their beneficiaries to guide social policies and programs ”.

Those who want to verify if they are surveyed can do so on the website of the Planning Secretariat, entering the identification data of the head of the household

What is Sisbén and why should you fill out the survey?

What is Sisbén and why should you fill out the survey?

Sisbén makes it possible to identify and organize the population according to their socioeconomic conditions and is used to direct social spending towards those who need it most. Remember that this is not a health care system, a social program, a subsidy or aid for early childhood or the elderly.

Having a result Sisbén does not guarantee access to any program. Each entity responsible for social programs defines the requirements for the entry and permanence of beneficiaries. However, appearing in the registry is essential to be able to identify the needs of the population and households that may need some help.
