Alejandro Silva, a professor at the District University, went viral on social networks after a discriminatory video of him was broadcast. The teacher launched a tirade at his students and other teachers, in which he had offensive words against the LGBTI community.
At the beginning of the video, the teacher is heard assuring that the gender discussions point to mental problems. “Those gender discussions are stupid. There are two genders, man and woman, the rest is studied by psychology“, Silva says.
The professor from the District University attacks with even more force later. “There are two genders: that you have an aberration is another thing. That you have a man’s body and behave like a woman, you have to find out what caused that. If he was raised or treated as a woman or a relative, he raped him and he liked him behave like a woman, “says the teacher.
Finally, it brings up the alleged “gender ideology” primers that Gina Parody, during her term as Minister of Education, would have implemented. “The little booklet for seven-year-olds to define their sex. That is an aberration. If the child is a boy, he must be educated and taught as a man, “he says.

Faced with these complaints, activists from the LGBTI community have asked Mayor Claudia López and the Rector of the University, Ricardo García, to take action against Silva.
