As of December 1, the National Registry will make available to all Colombians the digital ballot
. This will have the same data as the current physical, such as name, surname, identification number, place and date of birth, sex, signature and photo.

In this digital document you can also have other information such as the civil registry, the driver’s license, the medical history and even a certification of organ donation. This new ID becomes a complement to the current one and both will be valid.
As of December 1, Colombians will be able to schedule their appointment through the Registrar’s page to begin the process of issuing the digital ID.
