Today ends the group stage of the Diego Armando Maradona Cup and the draw of the Championship stage, made up of the first and second of each zone; and the Complementation Phase, with the third and fourth. The event will start at 21:30 and will be broadcast by official channels of the Professional Football League (LPF).
The Championship Phase will be made up of two zones, made up of three first and three second from the group phase. Here there may be classics within the same group, but the teams that shared a zone in the first stage will not be able to cross again in this instance.
The winners of each zone will face off in a unique final in a neutral stadium to determine the great champion of the Diego Armando Maradona Cup. In addition, whoever wins the title will get a place for the 2021 Copa Libertadores.
The Complementation Phase will have the same format as the one just mentioned, but made up of the third and fourth parties from each zone. The winner of the final of this phase will be measured against the loser of the decisive match of the Championship Phase for a place in CONMEBOL Sudamericana 2021.
