When they arrived in the neighborhood of the Ricardo Balcázar neighborhood, a young man took Natalia from behind and told her to hand over what she was carrying. “Not my little girl,” said the mother.
In her suitcase, Natalia carried a laptop and her lunch. The assailant, in a couple of seconds, raised the gun and fired.
The student fell from a gunshot wound to the head. Relatives and neighbors arrived at the site. They took her to the Carlos Holmes Trujillo hospital, from where she was immediately referred to the Valle del Lili clinic. A few hours later, she was pronounced dead.
Her relatives made the will to donate organs, as she had expressed it if one day it was missing, to save and help the lives of other people.

Citizen support allowed the Police to reach some apartments neighboring the Los Lagos neighborhood, where they held a young man who appears as the alleged aggressor and was taken before a Guarantees Control court. The 26-year-old captured has no criminal record.
Faced with a possible error in the identity of the detainee and one of the lawyers, the process was prolonged and the 36-hour terms expired without legalizing the capture, so he was released.

The Prosecutor’s Office adjusted the procedure and the Police captured him again. On Friday, in a court, the legalization of capture was processed with charges of homicide in circumstances of punitive aggravation in a heterogeneous contest with manufacture, carrying or possession of weapons, accessories, parts or ammunition and qualified theft in the degree of attempt.
The prosecutor explained that he could access legal benefits if he confessed to the murder.
The hearing was suspended pending a dialogue between the detainee and his lawyer. After a few minutes the young man said that he did not accept charges, but the court issued the assurance when evaluating the proposals of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police reports.
