On Tuesday morning the Casanare Assembly held the virtual debate session on the Departmental Development plan. While the meeting was taking place, one of the videos recorded the moment in which the deputy of the Radical Change party, Marco Tulio Ruiz, lies in his bed.
This video shows the moment in which the ex-governor of Casanare lies down, literally to rub his belly.
It is not the first political meeting on the Zoom platform that causes surprise among citizens.
In April, for example, a virtual meeting between councilors and the mayor of Cartagena it caused controversy due to the insults and the vulgar words that they used to make claims to each other.
Indeed, the mayor William Dau insulted them and made strong claims, as he blamed them for the corruption that exists in the District and the implications that this has for the fight that is taking place against the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Dau made a clarification to separate the councilors who just arrived at their post from the old ones. “Those who are new still have time to reconsider and open up to those of the ‘old guard’ who represent the same old politicking,” Dau told the lobbyists.
Many of those who felt alluded to also responded to the mayor with insults and profanity.
