Everything is ready for the next phase of the BetPlay Cup, which in the face of the pandemic moved its calendar and the round of 16 will be played in November. The champion will get a place in the 2022 South American Cup.
This Thursday the last return matches of the third round were played and The eight teams that will face the eight that are already seeded in the second round were defined, for having participated in international tournaments this year.

Those who first obtained their quota were those who were represented or still do so in Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana, these teams are: Millonarios, Nacional, Junior, Cali, Pasto, América, Tolima and Medellín.
While from the third round come: Santa Fe, Pereira, Envigado, Cúcuta, Deportes Quindío, Real San Andrés, Águilas Doradas and Alianza Petrolera. This is how the keys to the Cup remained in this phase:

When and how are the round of 16 played?
The next phase of the Colombian tournament will be played on November 18, with single-match direct elimination games to find out the eight teams that will advance to the quarterfinals and the teams that will officiate at home will be classified from phase three. The champion of the Cup will have direct quota to the South American 2022.
The keys will be defined through a draw. On the one hand there will be the eight clubs classified for participating in international tournaments and on the other those that arrive from the third round.
