The Uruguayan Luis Suárez reached 150 goals in the Spanish League, 147 with Barcelona and three with Atlético de Madrid, by scoring the goal that led to the ‘rojiblanco’ victory against Celta de Vigo (2-0).
In England, the Argentine midfielder Manuel Lanzini signed a goal on the horn for West Ham to rescue a point from the draw against Tottenham (3-3) after coming back from a 3-0 deficit.

“Reaching 50 games with Zenit is very important to me and having helped the team to take all three points makes it more special,” he told the club’s media after the match.
- Germán Pezzella (Fioretina / ARG): The central defender from Bahía Blanca scored the goal that opened the scoring in the tie between Fiorentina and Spezia (2-2).
The match also marked the Argentine’s debut this season in Serie A.

- Luis Suárez (Atlético de Madrid / URU): The ‘Pistolero’ scored the goal that opened the scoring in the win against Celta de Vigo (2-0) to reach 150 goals in the League; 147 with Barcelona and three with the ‘rojiblanco’ club.
“It was important to score goals and win for the team to gain confidence,” said the attacker after the match.
- Giovanni Simeone (Cagliari / ARG): The attacker contributed a ‘double’ for the Sardinian side to beat Torino (3-2), thus reaping their first win of the campaign after a draw and two losses.
- Lucas Alario (Bayer Leverkusen / ARG): The Argentine striker made his debut as a scorer this season to seal his team’s victory against Mainz (1-0).
