Mercado Libre and Maymar companies opened a competition in the region aimed at companies that have a triple impact in what has to do with environmental care, community well-being and economic development.
And the finalist for Colombia in that international contest is María del Mar Pizarro, that she is not only a successful businesswoman, but is the daughter of the murdered M-19 leader Carlos Pizarro.
She is the CEO of Biogar, a company that produces and sells ecological cleaning products such as detergents, dishwashers and disinfectants, among others.
His venture was chosen from more than 2,000 who signed up in Latin America and is now among the six finalists, competing with companies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico.
