In the last hours A protest in Cartagena has gone viral, where Mayor William Dau yells at some police officers who are mobilizing through the streets of the city on their motorcycles and forces them to “get lost.”

“Listen to me the Police: I am the mayor of Cartagena and you have to obey me. Get lost. We do not want violence, “says Dau in a video that is going viral on social networks, because of the way he treats the uniformed.

The video in which the mayor, shouting, calls the attention of a group of uniformed soldiers who mobilize on their motorcycles was recorded during a new day of protests that took place this Saturday, after the death of citizen Javier Ordóñez, in an alleged case of police abuse in western Bogotá.

Dau’s scolding of the police comes after the local president dispel an altercation that arose at the height of the María Auxiliadora sector.
