With 618 new coronavirus infections reported this Saturday, the figure reported daily remains over 500 in the department after this Holy Thursday 711 and 592 were notified on Good Friday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, nine people died this Saturday in the Valley from complications derived from covid-19, of which four died in Cali, two in Roldanillo and one in Buenaventura, Yumbo and Palmira.

To date, Valle del Cauca adds 210,316 confirmed cases of the disease and 6,598 deaths since the arrival of the pandemic.

At the national level, of 36,332 tests processed -28,673 PCR-type and 7659 antigens-, 9149 new cases of coronavirus were identified that are located in Antioquia (2353), Barranquilla (1745), Bogotá (1405), Atlántico (1020) Valle (618), Santa Marta (310), Guajira (184), Cundinamarca (158), Risaralda (158), Cesar (150), Caldas (140), Córdoba (126), Santander (107), Sucre (101) , Quindío (100), Magdalena (97), Cartagena (73), Meta (44), Norte de Santander (39), Tolima (36), Nariño (32), Huila (29), Boyacá (25), Cauca ( 24), Bolívar (22), Casanare (22), Chocó (13), Caquetá (7), Putumayo (6), Amazonas (3) and San Andrés (2).

As for those who died from covid-19 throughout the country, the Minsalud reported 155 people, of which 136 lost their lives in previous days.

Since the arrival of the pandemic and until now, Colombia has added 2,437,197 confirmed cases of coronavirus -55,547 of these still active-, a total of 63,932 deaths and 2,309,356 recovered.

The territories most affected by the pandemic are Bogotá with 692,249 confirmed cases, Antioquia (382,652), Valle (210,316), Atlántico (159,108) and Cundinamarca (111,684).

In the world, infections amount to 130,568,485, deaths are already 2,842,363 and the people who have overcome the disease are 73,979,197.
