Miguel Ángel López conquered the victory in the 17th stage in a day in which the group of favorites jumped into a thousand pieces. The Colombian was the great winner of the day as he also placed third on the podium behind a Roglic who was relentless again in the final ascent and a Pogacar who followed. Mikel Landa, who paid for his offensive strategy, and Enric Mas, who defended himself well, are 7th and 8th overall, respectively.
