The curfew in Medellín is about to be reformed, or at least the mayor of Medellín, Daniel Quintero, made it known on his social networks after the high occupancy of intensive care beds.

On his Twitter account, the president wrote: “An additional curfew is inevitable this weekend. UCI occupancy level is at its highest since the pandemic began. The effects of December 31 are still being felt and people who were infected in Puente de Reyes are beginning to arrive at ICU ”.

The additional measures would contemplate a total curfew, from this Friday, until next Monday, January 18, in the absence of confirmation from the local president.

Curfew, motivated by high ICU occupancy

The local president expressed that the intensive care units are in historical figures, and he is not lying.
