This Thursday, after the fateful balance of at least eight deaths was known that left Wednesday night in the midst of protests for an act of police brutality that ended the life of Javier Ordóñez, the demonstrations were reactivated in various parts of the country.
Faced with this public order situation, the authorities of Cajicá, in Cundinamarca, decreed Curfew in that municipality from 5:00 pm on Thursday until 5:00 am on Friday, September 11.
With this measure, says the decree, it restricts “the permanence or circulation of people in parks, streets, squares, roads, avenues, platforms, pedestrian paths and other places that are considered public space, as well as any type of open trade establishment to the public”.
