Curfew for December 31 will be extended

It will go from midnight to 5 am, but in 3 municipalities it will start at 11 pm

For December 31, the last day of 2020, there will be an extension of the curfew, now it will be from midnight, until 5 a.m. on January 1, 2021.

This was established, after the security council that was held with the presence of the 12 mayors of the department, however, the measure will not be the same in Salento, Pijao and Genoa, where it will begin at 11 pm

As of January 2, 2021, the curfew will once again be between midnight and 4 a.m. in Quindío. The sale of liquors continues until 10 pm throughout the region.

Other measures

The change in restrictions and the hospital red alert will depend solely on citizen behavior and the occupation of beds in intensive care units.

Regarding the caravans and the end of the year celebrations, they were prohibited, as they were accused of “disturbing the public order”. The actions were taken with the aim of avoiding crowds.
