Cundinamarca: Man murdered his two children in Zipaquirá – Bogotá

On the morning of this Tuesday, October 13, in the San Jorge village, in the sector known as Casa de Lata El Candín, in the municipality of Zipaquirá, Cundinamarca, a 6-year-old girl and her 5-year-old brother were murdered.

Everything indicates that it was his own father, who had recently arrived in this area of ​​the department. This man was captured while on the road to Cajicá and identified as Amed Rodolfo Bayona Moncada.

“My thanks to the Cundinamarca Police for their quick response to the painful murder of two minors in our department. The murderer has been captured and will be brought to the disposal of the authorities to establish the conditions in which this terrifying crime, “said Governor García.

He recalled that these have been difficult days, taking into account the plane crash in which a family died in Ubaté, the death of a cyclist who was hit by a van on the road to Chia and the murder of a councilor in Yacopí.

“I have convened an extraordinary security council in which we will review the situation in the department and the specific cases that arose over the weekend. In addition to the department authorities, the mayors of some of our municipalities have been invited to it, “he said.

Unofficial information indicates that the alleged murderer arrived in this area from the department of Meta and that he had a record of violent carnal access. For Thursday, October 15, a press conference is scheduled in which the Cundinamarca Police will give information on the capture and what happened with these minors.
