In addition to defining how and when the rest of the League is going to be played, the assembly of clubs of the Dimayor made other decisions to allow the normal development of the tournaments.

One of the most delicate issues is that of Cúcuta Deportivo. The Colombian Association of Professional Footballers (Acolfutpro) requested the suspension of the club’s sports recognition, as well as those of Deportivo Pasto and Deportivo Pereira, for non-compliance with payments.

Further, the Cúcuta mayor’s office had requested that the liquidation process of the club be resumed, due to breach of the payment agreement. And now, the government entity announced that it cannot lend the General Santander stadium, because they are doing work on the stage.

This being the case, the team had to go out to find headquarters. And this Wednesday, Dimayor approved the transfer: will play their home matches in Armenia.

It is not the first time, in the administration of José Augusto Cadena, that Cúcuta has changed headquarters. In 2015, when he was still in B, he played some games in Zipaquirá.

(In other news: Did James Rodríguez go free to Everton?)

But Cúcuta has gone through many other venues: it was local, among others, in Ocaña, Jardín (Antioquia), Girardot, San Antonio del Táchira, San Cristóbal (these two, in Venezuela), Yopal and Zipaquirá. Now add a new city to the list.
