Cúcuta Deportivo today: Dimayor will pay hotel and travel for the players to Santander | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

This Thursday it was decided that Cúcuta Deportivo will not be able to play its last two league games, in which it had to face América and Nacional, on the 19th and 20th of the BetPlay League, respectively.

On Thursday afternoon there was a meeting between the directors of Colombian football and it was confirmed that Cúcuta will not be able to play in the next few days, but they did not communicate anything to the players of the motilón team and they, in Armenia, had to find out everything by social networks and the media.

In addition to sports, the players were also concerned about their present and future because, although they still have a contract with the team, they felt evicted in coffee lands, since not even the hotel where they are staying has been recently paid.

This concern was expressed by Diego Peralta on Caracol Radio, but hours later it was learned that Dimayor contacted the footballers to guarantee that they would pay for the hotel and put a plane to take them to Cúcuta, where many of them have their families.

Even in social networks, Óscar Montes, the director of the IMRD, said that they would also contribute to the return of the players to the city. It should be noted that Deportivo Cúcuta owes money to the IMRD.

While all this is happening, the great absentee has been José Augusto Cadena, as they have stated, he has not contacted the players either.
