Córdoba will be cited as a witness. Due to the fact that the process goes through the system prior to the accusatory criminal, the Prosecutor’s Office is defining whether the citation of a free or sworn version.
This Thursday, after her bodyguards suffered an attack that is being investigated as a robbery, former Senator Piedad Córdoba disproved that hypothesis and pointed out that she and close people have suffered several alleged robbery attempts.

Córdoba also said that he knew who ordered to kill Gómez Hurtado, and assured that he will present the evidence to the Truth Commission, where the case has been aired again, in part, based on the version of former president Ernesto Samper.
For the Gómez Hurtado family, Córdoba wants to distort the hypothesis that the crime was planned from the power of the State when Samper was president. For this reason, they themselves asked the Prosecutor’s Office to cite the liberal politics of the left.
