COVID: You must meet a requirement to travel

With the reopening of airports there is a protocol that must be followed, but you must also meet a requirement to be able to travel.

Andrés Ortega, manager of Opaín, explained in an interview with Blu Radio what each traveler needs.

This, specifically for air travel on national routes already enabled.

Requirement to travel

Although it is not an obligation, at airports they will ask passengers to have CoronApp.

This is the Government application that allows you to know what the citizen has done in recent days and if he is in good health.

“You should have CoronApp, it is a matter of responsibility. It is not a requirement, it is a recommendation,” said Ortega.

Domestic flights

About 8,000 people will travel this Tuesday on about 80 domestic flights that will depart from El Dorado airport.

This will be the first day of operations after being closed in March due to the emergency caused by the coronavirus.

Initially, 14 national routes will operate in El Dorado to cities such as Medellín, Cali, Cartagena de Indias, Pereira, Santa Marta, Bucaramanga, Cúcuta, Montería, San Andrés, Villavicencio, Pasto and Leticia by the airlines Avianca, Easy Fly, Satena, Latam and Viva Air.

For now, the only destination for which it is required to have a negative COVID-19 test is San Andrés, which must be carried out maximum 48 hours before the trip, while for the rest of the cities this is not a requirement.
