Covid-19: New cases, recovered and deaths from coronavirus in Colombia – Health

The Ministry of Health confirmed 132 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia, of which 123 correspond to previous days. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 26,844.

This Monday, October 5, The health authority also reports 7,106 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 23,561 PCR tests and 12,412 antigen tests were processed. It is worth mentioning that, since the first case (confirmed on March 6), 3,930,262 samples have been processed in the country.

Thus, the country reaches 862,158 confirmed coronavirus cases. To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 276,839 confirmed infections after 2,011 more were confirmed this Monday.

On the other hand, this report from the Ministry of Health indicates that, In the last 24 hours, 4,626 recovered patients were confirmed. Thus, there are already 766,300 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in Colombia.
