The Sectional Secretariat of Health of Antioquia, reported for today, Tuesday, December 15, 1,512 new cases of Covid-19 in the department and the number of infected rises to 233,104.
Of them in Medellín there are (760), Envigado (89), Rionegro (78), Bello (78), Itagüí (63), La Ceja (48), Caldas (37), Sabaneta (35), Marinilla (28), Carmen de Viboral (27), Copacabana (27), Peque (23), Girardota (19), La Unión (14), San Vicente (12), Santa Rosa de Osos (12), Guarne (12), Remedios (10 ), Barbosa (10), La Estrella (9), Ciudad Bolívar (8), Donmatías (7), Apartadó (7), San Andrés de Cuerquia (6), Puerto Berrío (6), Abejorral (6), El Retiro (6), El Peñol (6), Urrao (6), Jardín (6), Santa fe de Antioquia (5), Caucasia (4), Buriticá (4), Fredonia (4), Betulia (3), El Santuario (3), Vegachí (3), El Bagre (2), Betania (2), Hispania (2), Cocorná (2), Concordia (2), Giraldo (2), Jericó (2), Cáceres (2), Guatapé (1), Caracolí (1), Titiribí (1), Caicedo (1), Yarumal (1), San Jerónimo (1), Sonsón (1), San Roque (1), Arboletes (1), Concepción (1 ), Venice (1), Angelópolis (1), Zaragoza (1), Amagá (1) and Segovia (1).
All previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance. With these new cases, the number of infected people in Antioquia rises to 233,104. 118,955 of them are women and 114,149 are men.

Likewise, it points out that there are (718) hospitalized patients: (426) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (292) in general hospitalization.
Regarding patients from other departments, there are (5) hospitalized people. From Chocó (3) in general hospitalization, from Boyacá (1) in general hospitalization and from San Andrés Islas (1) in general hospitalization.
Regarding the ICU beds in the department, among which are those destined for the care of patients with COVID19 and patients with other pathologies, Antioquia has a total of 1,250 beds. Of these there are, to date, 981 occupied as follows: 331 with COVID patients, 121 COVID suspects and 529 non-COVID. Thus, the occupancy of ICU beds in the department today is 78.48%.
