Covid-19 cases continue to increase, this Thursday they reported 1,132

Daily cases in Valle del Cauca again showed an increase, since, according to the Ministry of Health, 1,132 infections were confirmed this Thursday.

Regarding the new deaths, in the Valley there were 30 cases, distributed in Cali (17), Palmira (3), Tuluá (2), Jamundí (2) and one by one in Roldanillo, Buga, Guacarí, Trujillo, El Cerrito and Caicedonia.

In total, 123,331 infected people and 3,915 deaths have been registered in the department since the start of the pandemic.

In Colombia, the INS reported that 12,196 new cases were presented this day, which brings the general balance in the country to 1′,468,795.

However, the Minsalud report clarifies that 81,142 of the total cases are active, while 1’343,819 have managed to defeat the virus.

In addition, they confirmed 227 deaths from diseases associated with the virus, although 203 belong to previous days. Thus, the general balance of deaths in the country is at 39,728.

It should be remembered that according to the WHO, in the world there have been 74,724,989 positive cases of covid-19, of which 1,657,706 have died.
