The panorama of covid-19 in certain parts of the country sets off alarms, even more so in this holiday season. In Norte de Santander, for example, doctors called for a general quarantine in order to slow down the speed of the spread of the new coronavirus.
Meanwhile, on the night of this Monday, Jorge Iván Ospina, mayor of Cali, announced that the city will go on red alert due to the disproportionate number of covid cases in recent days.
“Our health situation as a result of the covid and the burden of disease caused by the closure of services during the quarantine is really difficult,” the president began.
“Caleña community, what is in danger is the lives of many, for this we will escalate to red alert. We will have restrictions”, He announced on his account on the social network.
