Coronavirus today | Contagions, deaths and recovered from covid-19 in Colombia – Health

The Ministry of Health confirmed 197 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 38,866.

This Saturday, December 12, the health authority also reports on 8,163 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 31,541 PCR tests and 28,911 antigen tests were processed. It is worth mentioning that, since the first case (confirmed on March 6), 7,029,070 samples have been processed in the country.

So things, the country reaches 1,417,072 confirmed coronavirus cases. To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 403,145 confirmed infections.

On the other hand, This report from the Ministry of Health indicates that, in the last 24 hours, 6,126 recovered patients were confirmed. Thus, there are already 1,310,425 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in Colombia.

With this update, in total 64,409 cases remain active in the country.
