From 9 :: 00 at night on Thursday, December 31 and until noon on Sunday, January 3, 2021, the curfew and prohibition will be long in the capital of Valle del Cauca.

The bill and tag will be raised this Thursday and the bill and tag will continue, in pairs and odd numbers, for the supply of food and medicine. Saving lives, repeated Mayor Ospina, is the goal of these measures.

The city authorities have been applying different measures in order to stop the contagion by covid-10. Cali already has more than 95,000 positive cases.

On Wednesday, December 30, the report of the Ministry of Health indicates that in Valle del Cauca there were 42 deaths and 1,067 new cases of covid-19, the majority in the capital.

Mayor Ospina said that the dry law and curfew will apply from 9:00 p.m. on December 31 and will continue until noon on Sunday, January 3.

“The idea is to limit any activity with the aim of reducing this hell of infected people,” said doctor Ospina, who indicated the commitment of all authorities and called on citizens to support that purpose.

The measures maintain the validity of the peak and ID so that one person, per family, is in charge of the supply of food or medicine. Establishments will also be allowed to use their platforms and networks to supply products.

The local government extended the closure for trips not only to the Pance River, but to the Meléndez, Cañaveralejo, Cali flows as well as other recreation points. Access to the hills will not be allowed.

A day before it had been announced that the dry law in Cali would apply from 5:00 pm and would be in effect until 5:00 pm on January 2, 2021. But now the measure is more drastic.
