In the midst of the hard pulse that occurs in Congress on whether to meet in a virtual way or in person, A proposal came up that immediately attracted attention.
The proposal came on behalf of the representative José Luis Correa, of the Liberal Party, who asked his colleagues “to have responsibility for the country” and to meet only in a virtual way.
“How are we going to tell a family that the ICU bed that should have been for their grandfather or uncle is occupied by a congressman who, being able to do so, refused to work from home and went to meet in person. “Said Correa, who is a doctor by profession.

Correa explained that the act of responsibility of those who can work from home is not to leave, precisely so as not to affect those who are forced to leave to find their food.
Congress has been in virtual sessions for a month and it is still not clear if, in a virtual way, it can vote on projects or not.
The doubts begin with the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber, who at first preferred not to hold a session until the Constitutional Court indicated whether the decree that enables virtual sessions is in accordance with Colombian law. The concept has not yet arrived.
