Coronavirus in the Atlantic: 865 new cases and 11 deaths

Colombia marked this Friday, for the third consecutive day, a new record of coronavirus infections by reporting another 14,941 infections, bringing the total number of positives to 1,574,707.

The country’s Ministry of Health reported in addition to other 236 deaths from Covid-19, bringing the number of fatalities to 41,690.

Of the new infections that occurred in the last 24 hours, 620 were registered in Barranquilla and 245 in the rest of the Atlantic. Regarding deaths, Minsalud reported 9 in Barranquilla and 2 in Soledad.

Of the total confirmed cases, still active 98,081, while 1,430,709 have been reported as recovered.

This Friday 46,646 samples were processed, 31,944 PCR type and 14,702 antigens, for a total of 7,802,635 tests performed.

There are 2,096 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia (Ituango), Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Buenaventura, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
