Coronavirus in Colombia: report of cases and deaths today, November 6 – Health

This Friday, November 6, 8 months after the arrival of the pandemic in the country, the health authorities released a new report on infections and deaths from covid-19 in Colombia.

According to the daily report of the Ministry of Health, there were 196 new deaths from coronavirus. With these figures, the total number of deaths in the national territory amounts to 32,405.

The entity also confirmed 9,756 new infections in the last hours. According to this Friday’s report, 35,856 PCR tests and 26,778 antigen tests were processed.

In Colombia, during the arrival of the pandemic on March 6, more than 5 million samples have been processed.

In Colombia, 1,127,733 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been detected, of which 72,537 are active.

The Ministry of Health also reported that 9,097 people were recovered and there are already 1,020,263 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in national territory.

According to the report, the areas where the most new cases were registered are Bogotá (2,230), Antioquia (1,788) and Valle (880).
