The Ministry of Health revealed on Thursday a new balance on covid-19 in the country and revealed that the death toll from the pandemic rose to 293, after 15 more deaths were registered.
Likewise, the health authorities pointed out that 296 new cases of contagion were reported, reaching 6,507 patients throughout Colombia.
The cases confirmed this Thursday by the Ministry of Health were registered in: Bogotá (90), Valle del Cauca (41), Atlántico (34), Cartagena (25), Barranquilla (22), Santa Marta (18), Huila (16), Magdalena (12), Caldas (10), Meta (9), Risaralda (6), Antioquia (4), Cundinamarca (4), Tolima (2), Boyacá (2) and Bolívar (1).

The report of the 15 people who died in the country correspond to a 29-year-old man in Cali, with diabetes and obesity; a 63-year-old man in Cartagena, who had diabetes; a 68-year-old man in Leticia, with HT and diabetes; a 75-year-old man in Leticia, with HTA and Epoc; a 69-year-old man in Bogotá with alcohol problems; an 85-year-old woman in Bogotá, who suffered from Alzheimer’s, hypothyroidism, and hydrocephalus; a 67-year-old woman in Pereira, with hypothyroidism; a 44-year-old man in Cali, with obesity problems; a 61-year-old woman in Neiva, with chronic kidney failure, hypertension and heart disease; a 75-year-old woman in Cúcuta, with HT, diabetes and Epoc; a 24-year-old man in Bogotá, with leukemia and tumor lysis; a 64-year-old woman in Cali, with HT and diabetes; a 66-year-old woman in Cali, with diabetes, heart disease, chronic kidney failure, hypertension, and anemia; a 58-year-old woman in Barranquilla and a 67-year-old man in Barranquilla, with chronic kidney disease.
This Thursday, 4,504 tests were carried out throughout the country.
The new balance indicates that the 6,507 cases are registered in: Bogotá (2,633), Valle del Cauca (945), Antioquia (472), Meta (372), Atlántico (309), Bolívar (294), Cundinamarca (223), Magdalena (202), Risaralda (199), Huila (120), Nariño (118), Amazonas (104), Norte de Santander (69), Caldas (69), Tolima (68), Quindío (60), Cesar (55) , Santander (40), Boyacá (39), Cauca (35), Córdoba (26), Casanare (18), Chocó (13), La Guajira (9), Caquetá (8), San Andrés and Providencia (6) and Sucre (1).
In the world, according to the health authorities in Colombia, 3’130,800 cases, 227,771 deaths and 1’008,498 people recovered are reported.
