Colombia registers 8,763 new cases of coronavirus infections, after processing 40,278 tests (28,662 PCR and 11,616 antigens). This was reported this Sunday, November 29, by the Ministry of Health.
With these figures, the country accumulates in total, since last March, when the first case of infection was registered, 1,308,376 people with the virus.

From that general figure, Until now, 1,204,452 have been recovered, leaving 64,324 as active cases.
Regarding deaths, 183 new ones were reported, with which the country accumulates a total of 36,584 deaths.

Bogotá (374,077), Antioquia (212,758), Valle del Cauca (107,558), Atlántico (77,835) and Santander (52,896) These are the areas of the country with the most registered cases.
Vichada (898), Vaupés (1,119), Guainía (1,202), Guaviare (1,829) and San Andrés y Providencia (2,129), the ones with the least.
Worldwide, more than 62 million people are infected. Of these, more than 40 million have been recovered and more than 1.4 million have died.

Recommendations for Christmas
The Ministry of Health issued this Sunday a list of recommendations to celebrate December amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Among others, the portfolio advised celebrating at home, only with the family nucleus with which you live and, if there is a vulnerable population in the family (those with comorbidities and those over 60 years of age), do not go out and avoid meeting with other people.
