Coronavirus in Colombia: deaths, infections and recovered until October 4, 2020 – Health

According to the report delivered this Sunday, October 4 by the Ministry of Health, Colombia has 156 new deaths from coronavirus, for a total of 26,712 deaths from this cause.

In terms of contagions, the most recent report shows that 32,661 tests were carried out, of which 6,905 were positive.

Since last March (when the first case was registered in the country) until this October 4, there have been a total of 855,052 infected. Of these, 761,674 have already been recovered and 64,777 are still active.

Bogotá continues to be the area of ​​the country with the most cases, with 274,829. They are followed by Antioquia (120,226), Atlántico (67,998), Valle del Cauca (65,053) and Cundinamarca (34,538).

The departments with the fewest cases are: Vichada (559), Vaupés (863), Guaviare (943), Guainía (961) and Arauca (1,934).

Worldwide, there have been more than 34.9 million infected (of which there are 24.3 million recovered) and more than 1 million deaths.
