Coronavirus in Colombia: deaths and infections today October 26 – Health

This Monday, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours 9,167 new infections were confirmed after processing 40,851 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 1,025,052 cases.

Likewise, the health authority confirmed 194 deaths, more of which 167 belong to previous days. The total number of deaths from covid-19 rises, then, to 30,348.

As for the recovered patients, 924,044 Colombians have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the health authority also reported that the active cases confirmed this October 26 are 68,310.

Antioquia is the department that registered the most cases in the last hours with 1,989; Bogotá had 1,197; Valley 753 cases; Huila 506 and Cundinamarca 473.

Worldwide, 43,140,173 people have been infected with coronavirus and 1’155,235 have lost their lives due to covid-19. On the other hand, the number of recovered in the world amounts to 29’039.929.
