Coronavirus in Colombia: deaths and infections today October 22 – Health

This Thursday, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours 8,570 new infections were confirmed after processing 51,544 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 990,270 cases.

Likewise, the health authority confirmed 172 deaths more of which 153 belong to previous days. The total number of deaths from covid-19 increases, then, to 29,636.

As for the recovered patients, 893,712 Colombians have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the health authority also reported that the active cases confirmed this October 22 are 64,651.

Worldwide, 41,299,301 people have been infected with coronavirus and 1,132,500 have lost their lives due to covid-19. On the other hand, the number of recovered in the world amounts to 28,200,848.
