Coronavirus in Colombia: deaths and infections today December 5 – Health

This Saturday the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours 9,642 new infections were confirmed after processing 52,780 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 1,362,249 cases.

Also, the health authority confirmed 166 more deaths. Of this number, 143 belong to previous days. The total number of deaths from covid-19 rises, then, to 37,633.

As for the recovered patients, 1,249,702 Colombians have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the active cases confirmed this Saturday, December 5, are 71,705.

Worldwide, 65,777,945 people have been infected with coronavirus; 1,520,082 have died from covid-19 and 42,551,559 patients have recovered.
