This Monday, January 4, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours, 10,311 new infections were confirmed after processing 48,289 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 1,686,131 cases.

Also, the health authority confirmed 222 more deaths and 9,824 recovered. The total number of deaths from covid-19 increases, then, to 44,187.

As for the recovered patients, 1,552,177 Colombians in total have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the active cases confirmed this Monday, January 4, are 85,278.

Worldwide, 85,510,573 people have been infected with coronavirus; 1,849,206 have died from covid-19 and 48,038,982 patients have recovered.
