On April 26, samples corresponding to covid-19 were taken from him and his wife, and he continued with the isolation at home, as established in the protocols and under the supervision of EPS.
On April 29, the driver began to have difficulty breathing, went to the Suba Hospital and then was transferred to the Simón Bolívar Hospital to attend to his respiratory complications.On Thursday, April 30, the driver died due to cardio-respiratory arrest, according to the hospital.

Today the operators or drivers of the system are insulated with security tapes in the operator’s cabin area, to avoid contact and closeness with users.
In the specific case of the nine buses managed by Mr. Lozano in the five days that he operated, there is a record of washing and disinfecting each one. The dealership has preventively established the people with whom the driver had contact in recent days to carry out the respective monitoring and isolation.
