Coronavirus December 31 | Contagions, deaths and recovered from covid-19 in Colombia – Health

This Thursday, December 31, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours, 16,314 new infections were confirmed after processing 83,539 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 1,642,775 cases. Since August 30, the country did not report more than 300 deaths.

Also, the health authority confirmed 304 more deaths and 11,239 recovered. The total of deaths from covid-19 increases, then, to 43,213.

As for the recovered patients, 1,508,419 Colombians in total have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the active cases confirmed this Thursday, December 31, are 86,777.

Worldwide, 83,146,810 people have been infected with coronavirus; 1’812,645 have died from covid-19 and 46’929,058 patients have recovered.
